Teja Singh Grewal, 96, from Brisbane, shares his memories of the early Punjabi-Sikh settlers in Australia. He migrated from Punjab in 1947 to reunite with his father, Booja Singh, who arrived in 1901, and to honour his grandfather, who first came in 1885. In this conversation, Teja Singh reflects on founding a Sikh congregation and community kitchen in 1968, as well as his pioneering role in establishing a Gurudwara (Sikh Temple) in Woolgoolga.
