Olympic swimming champion Ian Thorpe is urging Australians to send in their votes and to vote YES on same-sex marriage.  The deadline for forms to be in is 7 November and there is an urgency to get ballots in the mail in order to reach the ABS before then.  The latest polls show that of all the votes counted so far, almost 60% have voted YES to marriage equality.  But the data shows that many young people aged 18 to 35 have not voted, and Ian Thorpe is urging them to have their say and vote YES while there is still time.
