This is our first interview with Senator Pat Conroy, the minister for International Development and the Pacific since the federal election in May.

We last spoke to Senator Pat Conroy in April, a month before the federal election when he was the Shadow minister for International Development and the Pacific and we asked more or less the same questions in this follow-up interview - on the increasing influence of China in the Pacific, Australia in the Pacific Islands Forum, climate change, health and education assistance, the Ag Visa and the Pacific Seasonal Workers Program.
