She described Nadia Nadim as her all time favourite footballer, saying that Nadia Nadim rose from an Afghan refugee camp to make a name for herself in world football. Aliyyah's mother Ammarah Rahmani shared that she suffered from asthma and allergies in childhood, but despite that she kept fighting and achieved success.

Australia’s emerging footballer Aliyyah Jawaid Rahmani spoke to SBS Urdu about her sporting journey, achievements, and future goals. She said football is not just a game for her but a passion, and she credits hard work, consistency, and strong family support as key factors behind her success.

Aliyyah’s mother, Ammarah Rahmani, shared that Aliyyah was highly energetic and active as a child, which led to her enrolment in a football club at at the age of just three years. She said the entire family supported Aliyyah’s dreams, attending every match and assisting her whenever needed, adding that her achievements are a source of pride for the family. She also noted that Aliyyah faced asthma-related allergies in childhood but continued to overcome challenges and went on to achieve success.

She described herself as a proud Australian-Pakistani and encouraged parents to believe in their children’s abilities, provide strong support, and help them make the most of opportunities available in Australia.

Aliyyah’s coach, Khalid Zarran, also praised her abilities, describing her as an exceptional talent who has earned recognition through hard work, discipline, and dedication to the game. He said her success is a testament to the fact that determination and consistent effort can help individuals achieve their goals.
