Sohail Sameer is regarded as one of Pakistan's most versatile actors. He began his career as a model nearly two decades ago before transitioning into acting. Since then, he has portrayed a wide range of characters in numerous television dramas and films, including comic, serious and villainous roles. His popularity soared further with the Ramadan special drama Suno Chanda, and his successful journey has continued ever since. In an interview with SBS Urdu, Sohail Sameer spoke about the stories behind Pakistani dramas and films, as well as the characters he has brought to life.
- To prove myself as a better actor, I moved beyond hero roles and took on the character role of a father.
