A remarkable mark in TV dramas has been quickly made by Noreen Gulwani with her unique acting. In ‘Dil Dhoondta Hai Phir Wohi’, a sister caring for a dementia patient is played by her, while in ‘Sher’, a girl from a traditional family was portrayed by her before the drama concluded.
In an exclusive SBS Urdu interview, she said that dramas are still focused on repetitive storylines and similar characters by writers. She emphasised that fresh, diverse stories reflecting society’s changing dynamics are now wanted by audiences.
