The festival featured local businesses selling Ramadan-related items, clothing, gifts and traditional food through their stalls, while large numbers of families and young people enjoyed the occasion. The event not only provided a source of shopping and entertainment, but also provided an opportunity for the Sydney-based Muslim community to connect and celebrate the spirit of Ramadan together.
