The tragic death of Pakistani-origin youth Asadullah Satti in a traffic accident in New South Wales, Australia, has left the community in shock. As soon as NSW resident Umar Fazal heard the news, he immediately contacted a relative working in the emergency department of a nearby hospital in Orange to confirm the incident.
On the day of Eid al-Adha, Samiullah was returning home after offering Eid prayers with his late brother Asadullah and one of his sons when the tragic accident occurred. Speaking to SBS Urdu, he said that friends and well-wishers have supported him immensely during this difficult time.
Inspector Jason Bush from the local Dubbo zone police told Channel Seven that investigations into the incident are ongoing. According to official statistics, 130 people have lost their lives in road accidents in New South Wales alone during the first five months of this year.
