Our images and our stories - Lives of WA refugee community

The ‘Photovoice Project’ is an Exhibition of images by using ‘photovoice’ to explore refugee women’s experiences of settlement in Australia. Having a ‘voice’ and their ‘life story’ shared is considered an important part of empowerment and integral to being heard in the public and political arenas. Professor Jaya Dantas from Curtin University is sharing her experiences gained during research on refugee women in Western Australia.
