Pakistani fashion designer brings sharing traditions theme in Australia

Visiting Pakistani fashion designer Kausar Sajid brings to the table a culturally rich, Mughal-inspired collection of bridal and formal dresses. Her heart belongs to Pakistan but her designs reach out to the world. She encourages an inclusive society in an era of globalization. Kausar said “What’s a better way to achieve that than intercultural marriages and sharing traditions?” Through her designs, Kausar hopes to portray an image of Pakistan that diverts one from media projections and focuses on true Pakistani culture.
