A royal commission will be held into Australia's financial sector after the big four banks finally conceded it was in the nation's interest. For almost two years, the federal government fought off demands for a royal commission into the financial sector. That fight ended in a spectacular back-down this morning (Thurs) in the Prime Minister's courtyard at Parliament House in Canberra.
