Visiting human right commission member Anis Haroon ask overseas community to support justice for vulnerable

Anis Haroon

Anis Haroon is member of human right commission of Pakistan and former chairperson of National Commission on status of woman (NCSW) in Pakistan. She was selected among 100 women in the world for promoting peace by a Swiss-Indian Womens network for Nobel prize in 2005. Anis Haroon played a vital role in the struggle for the oppressed and against dictatorial regime and known as a symbol of courage. She is one of the founder-members of the Womens Action Forum. Anis Haroon Joined Aurat Foundation as Resident Director and played a Key role in providing relief to the victims of violence specially women.
