Unlike Ashleigh Barty, who's decision to choose an all year round sport like tennis ended her cricket career, Ash Brazill's chosen sports work well together
Ash Brazill's dream of a dual sporting code career is in full swing. She's playing netball for Australia and next month she's back for season four of the AFLW
And if that doesn't sound like much, her first child is due just three days before her 30th birthday in December.
Born in the New South Wales town of Bargo, Brazill's love of sport began at school in year four when an AFL mad teacher introduced her to the sport. But once she turned 15, it was netball all the way - her first season with the Sydney Swifts in 2010 was followed by a four-year stay in Perth with the West Coast Fever.
She's now in Melbourne at Collingwood playing both AFLW and netball.
"I think it's brilliant, kids can dream big," she told SBS News.
