Caritas Australia says Australia is facing a high level of expectation to deliver on ambitious action on climate change at COP28.

Climate reparations through what is being called a loss and damage fund has been a key agenda item at this year's UN climate summit, COP28.

Caritas Australia's Dr Damian Spruce is at COP28 in the United Arab Emirates.

He spoke to Biwa Kwan about the role Australia can play in renewing engagement with the Pacific by supporting the new fund
