Looking for wonderful chocolate bakes to serve at festive gatherings this year, or to give as edible gifts? The Chocolate Queen, Kirsten Tibballs, has the recipes you need.
Raspberry coconut chocolate slice
This striking layered slice, made with fresh and freeze-dried raspberries, looks perfectly festive. Great for dessert platters.

Choc berry Yule log
A stunning festive dessert, with chocolate sponge wrapped around a cream and berry filling, this can be partly made weeks in advance.

Chocolate pecan pie
With a base made with butternut snap biscuits and a pecan and chocolate filling, this pecan pie can decorated with whatever shapes you like.

Chocolate-covered brandy snaps
These dainty little cups lined with chocolate, filled with mascarpone cream and strawberries, and topped off with white chocolate curls make a pretty festive dessert.

Chocolate goodness
Tibballs says of these delights that if biscuits and chocolate truffles were to have a love child, it would be exactly this. 'Chocolate goodness' combines a crunchy chocolate biscuit base and creamy ganache, coated with milk chocolate and topped with a pop of salt and biscuit crumb.

Chocolate and jam biscuits
This takes the traditional jam drop and gives it a chocolate twist in a new shape, perfect for Christmas.

Kataifi chocolate wreaths
Put a chocolate spin on the traditional Christmas wreath with this recipe, which uses kataifi pastry, chopped apricots and pistachios. Kirsten has taken the festive look up a notch by brushing the wreaths with gold lustre dust. Give as gifts or use as decorations.

Orange and almond biscotti
These twice-baked Italian biscuits dipped in chocolate can be served at a gathering or placed in gift bags for a lovely edible gift.

Mousse and mocha cheesecake
Looking for a make-ahead dessert? This triple-layer cheesecake has a hint of coffee in both the biscuit base and the mocha baked cheesecake middle, topped with a creamy layer of chocolate mousse. And since it needs at least six hours chill time before serving, and can be stored for several days, it's perfect for entertaining.

Chocolate berry babka
A chocolate and mixed berry swirl adds a pop of colour to this babka, made with a soft brioche dough. Perfect for brunch over the festive season.
