Lamb mince cooked with aromatic spices, onion, garlic. tomatoes, fresh chillies and peas. This delicious Lamb Keema is quick to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 500 gm minced lamb
  • 2 cups finely chopped onion
  • 3-4 tbsp oil
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 5-6 peppercorns
  • 3-4 green cardamom
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped green chilli
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • ¼ cup peas
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp garam masala powder

Method

  • In a pan add oil, cumin seeds, bay leaves, peppercorn, cardamom, ginger, garlic, green chilli and cook for about 1-2 mins.
  • Add onion and salt. Cook till the onion turns translucent.
  • Add tomato puree, coriander powder, red chilli powder and cook till the masala separates oil.
  • Now add lamb mince and cook till the mince is cooked.
  • Now add mint leaves, lemon juice, peas and garam masala.
  • Stir and cook for 2-3 mins.
  • Serve with some hot pav or paratha.
