Sydney's annual GNC football tournament turns 25

The GNC football cup organised by Sydney's Gurkha Nepalese Community (GNC) is celebrating its silver jubilee this year. The 2023/24 tournament started on Sunday, 15 October with a total of 28 teams geared up for a six-month competition in various leagues. SBS Nepali spoke to GNC's Rajiv Pradhan and Sandeep Rawal, who took us through the match formats, player composition and growing interest from second-generation players in the Nepali community.
