On Friday, 2 February a suicide prevention focus group discussion was organised by Australia Nepali Public Link (ANPL) at Cyprus Community Hall in Brunswick East, Melbourne. A selection of Nepali community leaders and members, including new student arrivals took part in the program which was a part of an ongoing research on mental health jointly conducted by ANPL and Western Sydney University. Organisers and participants spoke to SBS Nepali about the importance of suicide prevention awareness and the stigma associated with it.
