Ms Jabbal shared with SBS Punjabi her journey to becoming a fitness motivator for others her age.
After joining various Indian-Australian seniors’ clubs, she took her yoga love to the next level by starting Zoom classes during the COVID-19 lockdowns in 2020.
“I used to run classes face to face, but since COVID I have found it easier to host them online,” Ms Jabbal said.
Over the last 15 years, Ms Jabbal has been passionately promoting various fitness tips including breathing exercises, yoga stretches and dancing.
In an interview with SBS Punjabi, Rajendra Yenkannamoole, the founder of Vasudev Kriya Yoga in Melbourne, said yoga is a "way of life" and if practiced correctly it shapes one's physical, mental and the spiritual world.
Ms Jabbal takes care of her mental health through yoga and encourages her close-knit support group from her everyday classes to do the same.
