People, who are going to Melbourne City through Hoddle Street, have to know that the Hoddle Street is closed to traffic in both directions between Victoria Parade and the Eastern Freeway from January 7 to 14.
VicRoads is doing significant improvement on the bridge over the Eastern Freeway and have removed much of the existing surface.
Therefore, VicRoads already warned that significant delays are being experienced, so if Hoddle Street is part of your journey plan ahead to avoid this area completely and find alternative routes, check real time travel advice and allow plenty of time to get to your destination.
According to the ABC News around 330,000 people are using Hoddle Street and Punt Road each day and also around 1,000 buses travel along the Hoddle Street-Punt Road corridor.
