Anoja Weerasinghe is a veteran actress in Sri Lankan cinema, theatre, and television. She was the first Sri Lankan artiste to have won the Silver Peacock Award for Best Actress at the International Film Festival of India in New Delhi, receiving the honour in 1987 for her critically acclaimed performance in Maldeniye Simion.
