Speaking to SBS, festival organizers said the Mango Festivals offer a fresh and distinctive way to introduce Pakistani culture to a wider Australian audience, setting them apart from traditional Eid celebrations. Their unique blend of food, culture, and community has attracted people from diverse backgrounds, creating opportunities for cultural exchange and connection.

Organizers also highlighted that Pakistani mangoes are celebrated around the world for their exceptional sweetness and flavour. Thanks to the opposite growing seasons in Pakistan and Australia, Australians can enjoy these premium mangoes at a time of year when fresh local mangoes are out of season, making the festivals a unique celebration of both culture and cuisine.
