SBS Nepali was recently in Far North Queensland (FNQ) broadcasting a live Tihar Special radio program from Cairns together with the other seven South Asian language services of SBS. This podcast episode features our conversation recorded during the live broadcast on Thursday, 9 October 2025, with international student Diki Bomjan, yoga instructor Arjun Paudel, and Bhutanese refugee-turned-traveller Narayan Mishra. The trio spoke to SBS Nepali about life in Cairns, their hobbies, and their enjoyment of festivities like Tihar with the local community.
