There is widespread news about the launch of a new visa granting unlimited stay for foreigner in Indonesia. Why can't the application be submitted yet?

The news on the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections of Indonesia's website mentions that the Minister of Immigration and Corrections (Imipas), Agus Andrianto, officially launched Global Citizenship of Indonesia (GCI). The new policy is said to be the solution to the issue of dual citizenship.

It is mentioned that GCI is an unlimited stay permit for foreign nationals who have strong ties to Indonesia, and that application for GCI is submitted online through evisa.imigrasi.go.id.

Have you tried to access the said page, tried to search for GCI application options, but without success?

It's still in the process.
