Nationals MP Kevin Hogan asked Treasurer Jim Chalmers how Australians can trust the government after Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said the refugee intake would remain at 20,000.
His question was in reference to Albanese confirming the intake would not change, despite reports the government was planning to slash the figure by a third.
