The Socceroos had been under sustained pressure but were able to break through, with Metcalfe unleashing a low strike into the bottom corner.

Injury scare for Mo Touré

Just prior to the break, Mo Touré broke forward under pressure for Türkiye but appeared to be limping.

He felt for his left calf, but remains on the pitch after the hydration break.

NDIS inquiry hears more calls to stop ‘cruel’ cuts

People with disability have served a grim warning to the federal government that major cuts to the National Disability Insurance Scheme could cost them their lives. The second of a three-day inquiry into proposed changes to the NDIS has heard from more advocates fiercely opposed to the bill, which Health Minister Mark Butler says is necessary to ensure the scheme's long-term survival.
